Hey everyone, I’m Kyle, the guy behind Dmons. here in Vancouver. I guess “founder” is the official title, but that sounds a little too serious. So let’s just say I’m the guy who started it.
If you’re reading this right now, maybe you and Dmons. were meant to cross paths. Our goal is to grow Dmons. into the biggest brand and community in the world representing car culture.
So if you already know about us this early, you’ve basically bought the dip. Not a bad place to be.
It Started With a Random Thought
It was the fall of 2022, on one of those days when the air smelled like autumn and the leaves were beginning to change.
I was lying in bed, watching car videos on YouTube like I usually did—and probably like many of you do too. For the record, I really love cars. Not just as a casual interest, but enough that I want automotive culture to be part of the life and future I build.
While watching those videos, a random thought came into my head:
“There are so many people who love cars just as much as I do. What if there were something that could bring all of us together and give us a place to share that passion?”
At first, it was just a reckless idea with no real plan behind it. But once it entered my head, it wouldn’t leave.
I didn’t want to create another clothing label that simply printed cars on T-shirts. I wanted to build our own club—a community that car enthusiasts could genuinely feel part of.
I imagined Dmons. becoming known around the world, with people wanting to represent the brand because it stood for the same culture and passion that brought all of us together.
I’ve also always been interested in clothing and fashion, so the next thought came naturally:
“What if I could bring automotive culture and streetwear together properly?”
That was the beginning of Dmons.
A Brand for Car Culture
Once I had the idea, I immediately started researching the market.
There were global brands that grew from specific cultures—Supreme from skateboarding and Stüssy from surf culture, for example.
But at least from what I could see, there wasn’t a globally recognized brand representing car enthusiasts and the automotive lifestyle in the way I imagined it.
Cars are more than transportation.
For some people, they’re a hobby. For others, they’re an escape. For many of us, they’re a way to express our personality and identity. Two strangers can meet for the first time and talk for hours simply because they share a love for cars. That is what makes this culture special.
That was when I knew:
“This is it. This is what I need to build before I die.”
Nothing too dramatic, right?
One random thought while watching YouTube in bed somehow made it all the way here.
Turning the Idea Into a Real Product
Once I had the goal, I started with the logo.
From there came the clothing designs, silhouettes, fabrics, samples and all the smaller details. I would receive a sample, find something I didn’t like, revise it and order another one. Then I would do it all over again.
It took a little over a year to go from the original logo concept to producing the finished garments.
I could have finished much faster if I had been willing to compromise, but I never wanted to sell something I wouldn’t genuinely want to wear myself.
I kept working on the fit, silhouette, fabric weight, texture and construction until the pieces felt right. That process took time, but it is also why I’m so confident in the material and overall quality of what we have created.
When you first put on a Dmons. piece, I don’t want it to feel like ordinary car merchandise with a logo printed on it.
I want it to feel like real streetwear—made with the same care and attention as the cars and culture that inspired it.
Why Our Pieces Are Limited
Dmons. products are made in limited quantities.
The purpose isn’t simply to make them difficult to buy. I want each piece to remain uncommon, worth owning and special even after time has passed.
One day, I want people to see an older Dmons. piece and think, “Damn, I should’ve bought that when I had the chance.”
Maybe that sounds ambitious—but there’s nothing wrong with dreaming big.
The Bigger Dream: Dmons. Garage
My vision doesn’t end with running a clothing brand.
One day, I want to build Dmons. Garage inside a massive warehouse on the outskirts of Vancouver, with enough parking space to create a true home for the local car community.
The space would include a Dmons. store, a café and lounge for car enthusiasts, and different things for people to do while they hang out, meet others and make memories.
And of course, the parking lot would host car meets.
Maybe even some drifting…?
The idea is to eventually create a proper private space where people who love drifting can safely make donuts without worrying about bothering everyone around them.
Right now, that dream might sound unrealistic or overly ambitious. But to me, it isn’t an empty fantasy. It is one of the biggest goals I want to accomplish in my lifetime.
For some reason, I genuinely believe I’ll make it happen.
This Is Only the Beginning
There is still so much I want to tell you about Dmons. and the culture we’re building, but if I make this too long, some of you might fall asleep—so I’ll stop here for now.
Thank you for taking the time to read our story.
For everyone who loves cars, and for everyone who supports and believes in Dmons., I promise we will keep improving, growing and building something worth being part of.
We will never forget the people who were here at the beginning.
Dmons. is more than clothing.
It is a sign that allows people who live for cars to recognize one another—and a culture we are going to build together.
Welcome to Dmons.
